Invitation to the Alberta Whitewater Slalom Annual General Meeting
Dear Members and Supporters of Alberta Whitewater Slalom,
We are excited to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Alberta Whitewater Slalom (AWS) community. This meeting is an essential event where we come together to review the past year's accomplishments, discuss plans, and elect new members to our leadership team.
Your participation is crucial to the continued success of our organization.

Meeting Starts: 9:00 am sharp – 4:00 pm (lunch will be provided)

Interested candidates should express interest to David Isaak, and attend the AGM to participate in the election, which will take place after the strategic planning session. A call for nominations will also be made during the meeting.
Reviewing our year’s success and learnings from our organization’s renewed strategic goals, objectives, and strategies that were set in November 2023. This review will allow our executive team to fine-tune the next two years of our 3-year strategic plan. *All members are encouraged to participate in the review, and the board will be responsible for determining how to execute any objectives that come from the review.
Planning and coordinating the 2025 programming and event schedule.

We will also provide a virtual participation option if you cannot attend in person. Details on how to join the virtual meeting will be shared closer to the event date.
Please consider becoming involved in our organization by joining the board or participating in committees. Your input and support are invaluable as we work together to promote and grow the sport of whitewater slalom in Alberta.
